Another bedside practice tonight. I met a friend in college who is one of my spirit brothers. I haven't seen him in years now, but it doesn't matter. He told me once that when he felt blue he would get as close to the ground as possible. Tonight I did that, not because I'm feeling blue at all but because when I've been teaching a lot, like this weekend, this is how I get centered. I physically get down low and imagine I'm draining myself of anything extra. Then I rest my awareness into the purest pool of feeling that I can. After that, I did sarvangasana, halasana, karna pidasana and matsyasana. Now for a solid sleep.
