equality, justice, liberty and freedom

I was just addressing an envelope today with my new forever stamps. Just in case I didn’t remember right, I looked up Liberty. That’s what I thought. Our land of the free just got a little free-er.

If Equality is one of the big, ahem, four important-enough-qualities to be *forever *paying for postage, maybe the elders on the hill should spend less time with the postal service and more with the rising tide of the people. Equality for all people please. As promised to me on my  stamp.

I am proud to be an American mama. I feel grateful every day. Especially when I hear about  the amount of people that ran towards the blasts in Boston. And the people that offered their homes, and hands to help those in need. We are a strong people. Not for our will or our guns or our freedom, but for our hearts. Let’s remember that when we all work together we can make a world of change.
