Reveal Yourself - Light

Every single part of my body has changed since becoming a mother. From the outside, the changes seem small, but the structure of my being is now woven with golden thread.

My assignment this week for the Motherhood Artist-in-Residency is to rediscover parts of myself that have changed, and give them some love. Offering attention in the form of photography is a new practice of self-acceptance for me. Today, I caught a moment of beauty in the light.

Ferociously held

Treasure of sparkling gold

 Explodes through the cracks

Bras hold up the air

Adorned and decorated

She slays the daytime

It tells a story

Decorated with freckles

Don't scrub it too hard
